Mission Statement
The Sisterhood Ministry is a support ministry with a diverse
membership ranging from the young to the mature woman who may
be single, married, divorced or widowed - all of whom are at different
points on their spiritual journey.
Goals
Our primary goal and objective is to build trust amongst our
Sisters and attempt to find ways to solve the problems of life
that are unique to women, with a focus on Christ as the solution
to such problems. We also teach the importance of bonding through
sisterhood, by being supportive of our Sisters as they move through
the various seasons of womanhood. We regularly hold Sister-to-Sister
dialogues to discuss pertinent issues and topics.
We actively reach out to the community at-large through involvement
in social service programs and to the larger church family by
supporting programs at other churches. We also sponsor special
programs to recognize Trinity members, such as "The Salute
to Black Men."
The Sisterhood Ministry is committed to the spiritual growth
of our Sisters as well as sharing and caring for their well- being.
Meeting: The Sisterhood Ministry meets the 2nd
and 4th Tuesday of each month at the church.
